I was zipping around Amazon the other day searching for popsicle molds — dinosaur popsicle molds, to be exact. (Do you know that I write children’s music? And, once I found the dinosaur popsicle molds, one colorful thing led to another and suddenly my wish list was brimming with vivid summertime hues.

A version of these blocks has been on my gift buying wishlist for my boys for years. I love the pops of colour in this wooden rock set. Endless hours of balancing entertainment for those long, laid-back summer afternoons. I can picture toting these around at all times for impromptu picnics and summer travel.
Silly straws in bright colours? Sign me up. I don’t love plastic straws but I can get behind glass. Although, yes, my kids manage to break them almost immediately, so they need to be kept up high, out of reach, just for mom and dad.
I have been wanting a kitchen mat for years. Maybe even two! One for in front of our sink. One for in front of our oven. This watercolor pattern is pretty and would give our neutral kitchen the perfect pop of colour.
